Alphons Joseph has come up with the unique idea of a music festival "Crossroads World Music Festival
Kochi" on Wednesday, June 21st at IMA House Kaloor.
Along with renowned musicians like Alphons Joseph, Gino Banks (Drums), Mohini Dey (Bass Guitar), Bala Bhaskar, Sayanora and Sithara talented students will also perform on stage. There would also be a Hindustani Sitar concert by Darwar University gold medalist Paulson K. J., Tabla by Rathnasree, Piano concert by child prodigy Milan Manoj and drums solo performance by Floyd Emmanuel.
Our aim - is not just to be a simple music school but an institution that churns out world class musicians. So at the festival, we bring world’s renowned artists and the talented young students to share the same stage so that they get a greater opportunity to collaborate with great musicians.
At the Festival we will also have the album release of our four bands - an all students bands formed as part of our summer camp programme Band Fiesta.
This event is just a prelude to the three-day Music Festival that will be held on the first week of October. Entry by pass only.
